Therapist, MSW, LSW

Maggi Rihel

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Social Worker, and throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from ages 3 to 105. My career as a social worker has taken me through nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and behavioral health units. As a counselor, I have supported clients facing challenges like depression, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, grief, relationship struggles, self-esteem issues, and more. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Life can be messy, complicated, and sometimes even a little absurd—so I take a straightforward and realistic approach to counseling. I’ll be honest and direct with you, while also being compassionate and understanding (and maybe even a tad bit sarcastic when appropriate. I believe in dismantling the stigmas and misconceptions surrounding mental health and encouraging my clients to advocate for themselves and others. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk with you as you work toward becoming the best version of yourself. Whether this is your first time or your 43rd time, I am excited to start this journey with you!
