She uses a strength-based and cognitive restructuring approach.
Educational Background
Danielle has a Master’s of Social Work from Ohio State University, a Bachelor’s of Organizational Leadership, and an Associate’s of Education from Miami University. She has trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Experience
Danielle has been helping others with their mental health for five years. She has worked with foster youth to help manage their mental health and develop resilience. Danielle has helped others develop coping skills for situations where mental health concerns impact their daily lives, equipping them with skills that help lessen the burden struggles of daily life can bring.
She has worked with mothers and families to build skills that enable them to care for their newborns after welcoming their child into the family, lessening the stress and barriers of parenthood. Danielle also has experience supporting individuals with anxiety and everyday challenges that arise. Danielle’s own experiences in therapy inspired her to start the journey as a counselor, and she has worked to dispel the stigma and negative perceptions of treatment held within culturally diverse communities.
