Owner, Therapist
Welcome to Best Life. I am happy you're here! I have worked as a therapist for ten years, addressing impulse control and mental health issues, after graduating from Wright State with my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am EMDR trained and proficient in various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
An individualized treatment plan is critical for maximum therapeutic benefit. Providing such individualization, however, requires thorough proficiency in various interventions and theoretical approaches. The following is a detailed, although not exhaustive, list of interventions I am qualified and experienced in providing with positive results:
Therapist, LSW
As a Licensed Social Worker with over ten years of experience specializing in mental health, impulse control, and trauma therapy, my goal in helping you is twofold: to achieve insight into what you need to grow and develop the skills to attain it. I completed my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Social Work with Youngstown State and am a military veteran.
My therapy style is compassionate and solution-focused. One of the most critical indicators of success in therapy is building a solid and trusting relationship with me. At Best Life E-Therapy, we aim to create a safe space where you can feel comfortable exploring your struggles without feeling judged or stigmatized. I enjoy working with many evidence-based intervention models of therapy, and I have a history of working with a diverse population in different therapeutic systems, including crisis intervention, trauma, PTSD, impulse control, and mental health.
If you feel anxious or depressed, or you've been living with unresolved trauma or grieving a loss, I want to help you overcome these barriers interfering with your success and happiness. Regardless of where you are on your journey, I am passionate about helping you achieve satisfaction in your life.
It takes a lot of strength to admit that you are having a difficult time and be courageous enough to seek help. I am glad you decided to take this positive step toward realizing your goals. I would be honored to help you along your path and empower you to live a more fulfilling life.
Therapist, MSW, LSW
Danielle Northcutt, MSW, LSW, has several years of experience helping others heal in various mental health settings. She has worked with children and their parents in hospitals, schools, non-profit institutions, and foster care organizations.
Her mental health focus has been postpartum depression, depression, anxiety, and poor self-esteem. She thrives on helping others manage and develop coping strategies, self-esteem, and self-confidence, reduce stress, and build resilience. She uses a strength-based and cognitive restructuring approach.
Danielle has a Master's of Social Work from Ohio State University, a Bachelor's of Organizational Leadership, and an Associate's of Education from Miami University. She has trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Danielle has been helping others with their mental health for five years. She has worked with foster youth to help manage their mental health and develop resilience. Danielle has helped others develop coping skills for situations where mental health concerns impact their daily lives, equipping them with skills that help lessen the burden struggles of daily life can bring.
She has worked with mothers and families to build skills that enable them to care for their newborns after welcoming their child into the family, lessening the stress and barriers of parenthood. Danielle also has experience supporting individuals with anxiety and everyday challenges that arise. Danielle's own experiences in therapy inspired her to start the journey as a counselor, and she has worked to dispel the stigma and negative perceptions of treatment held within culturally diverse communities.
